Evangelist and Teacher
I have now spent over 25 years travelling as an itinerant missionary evangelist and teacher. Now, having spent
about three years with limited travel, I have now resumed my travelling ministry. As a pastor friend in the
Philippines wrote, you cannot 'retire' but you need to 'refire!. My missionary
travels have taken me to and through over 70 nations and six continents. Some of those nations did not exist
when I started (e.g. South Sudan and Moldova) and some have disappeared (e.g. East Germany). I have recently
moved to a new church and play a full and active part. I preach whenever I am invited and I currently am
involved in a local group of '
Healing on the Streets'
and another weekly outreach called 'Coffee’ Stop'.
My ministry has developed with a double-edged thrust. With a vision to see men and women coming to a knowledge of
the saving power of the gospel of Jesus Christ combined with a passion to see churches and leaders come together
in unity. Having had opportunities to oversee many hundreds of churches,
I resisted many calls to build my own ministry name or organisation but followed my vision to see existing churches
and ministries built up and strengthened. As a result, many new churches have been established within existing
ministries and more than twenty Pastors Fellowships have been catalysed and established in five countries through
conference and seminar teaching.
Many thousands of people have responded to the call of the Gospel and countless numbers have testified to healing
in evangelistic meetings in which I have preached. In response to a need to train pastors in rural areas I have
written a Leaders Training Course Leaders Training Course. This training
course will soon be published in a book form and is currently with the publishers. I have taught in Bible Schools
in Bujumbura in Burundi, Matunda in Kenya and Uvira in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
My ministry often took me to those nations where conflict has at times caused other missionaries to pull back. I
worked in many conflict areas including Rwanda, Congo, S. Sudan, Burundi and Mindanao in the Philippines and more
recently Pakistan and Zimbabwe. In the early days of my overseas travel I also visited the persecuted Christians
in Kurdistan, in the Chernobyl disaster area and the Romania of Nicolae Ceausescu. I was also caught up in the
Kenyan tribal clashes of 1992.
I am available to preach, teach or share from my experiences.
